Christian Louboutin Loubidoo Rose Eau de Parfum Review

Christian Louboutin isn’t well known for it’s fragrances. In fact, the luxury fashion brand has only around 16 fragrances. But their bold and unique scents have become an increasingly popular option for those who appreciate fragrances. Loubidoo Rose is their newest offering and it reflects the very epitome of luxury. Our Loubidoo Rose review takes a deeper look at this new scent.

Christian Louboutin Loubidoo Rose Eau de Parfum Review – Basics

Christian Louboutin Loubidoo Rose Eau de Parfum Review

Obviously, our Loubidoo Rose review begins prompty with that ecceltic bottle design. Being primarily a world renowned fashion house, Christian Louboutin doesn’t let down on it’s Loubidoo Rose bottle.

The bottle uses a cat as the crown over a strawberry red bottle. The cat is said to bring you luck, but we aren’t sure about that. The bottle is simply gorgeous and helps makes for a beautiful gift choice. The cap has lipstick in it (red, of course)

Sadly, the bottle design may be the best part of this fragrance as reviews aren’t wonderful.

Loubidoo Rose is available in 90 ml. We don’t currently have Loubidoo Rose samples. Sign up for our newsletter and we’ll let you know when we do.

What does Loubidoo Rose smell Like?

Strawberry is the top note. Rose is the middle note. And cedar rounds out the base notes.

And that’s it.

This simple, yet inspiring scent doesn’t go the way of uber-complexity. And for that reason, some people don’t like it. Others feel its a bit of a stale play and that the strawberry doesn’t pop in the opening. Others feel the strawberry is so dominant early that it almost smells like a toothpaste.

For those who do enjoy it, it’s considered a pretty summer day scent. You should expect the base of cedar to find its way into your orbit sooner than later. It doesn’t hold back.

Christian Louboutin is a global icon in the fashion world, but perfumes and fragrances may not be it’s gig. Or, it’s simply too new to the game and needs a bit more time.

Now, it is early as Loubidoo Rose is new. But early results aren’t great.

Final Notes

Christian Louboutin is a premium luxury fashion brand, but they haven’t really nailed the fragrance vertical. The potent strawberry in the opening almost cheapens the fragrance and not what you’d expect from a luxury designer brand. The cap has lipstick which is a little gimmicky, but we can live with it. We don’t currently carry samples.
