Clinique Happy Review: The Basics

clinique happy review box and bottle

The Clinique Happy bottle is simple, yet elegant, in its design. It’s made of clear glass with a frosted finish. The bottle appears to resemble a tear drop. The cap is made of silver metal and has the famous Clinique logo embossed over it.

The bottle comes in a white box with a pink ribbon, making it a perfect gift.

The packaging is as clean as the perfume’s scent profile, we assume intentionally. The silver cap adds a touch of luxury, and the pink ribbon is the bow on top.

The bottle is available in sizes of 1.7 oz, 3.4 oz, and 5.0 oz.

The packaging is made of recyclable paper.

The perfume is cruelty-free and vegan. We have Clinique Happy samples in stock now. So if you’d rather pass on the rest of the review and try it yourself, you’ve got that option.

What Does Clinique Happy Smell Like?

First, let’s start with the notes and how the scent is layered.

Top notes:

The top notes of Clinique Happy are grapefruit, bergamot, and fresh-air accord.

Heart notes:

The heart notes of Clinique Happy are freesia, lily, rose, and morning orchid.

Base notes:

The base notes of Clinique Happy are musk and amber. These notes give the perfume a warm, sensual finish.

First, Clinique Happy offers a subtle silage that expands only a few feet around you. So it amplifies, but not in an obnoxious way. The longevity isn’t bad at around 6 hours, but certainly less than top-tier perfumes we’re used to reviewing.

The fresh, fruity vibes radiate off Clinique Happy in a way that feels rather uplifting to all those who encounter it. The opening features grapefruit and pos with a citrusy experience that’s refreshing.

The sweetness of the middle (heart) notes comes along soon after which infuses a feminine layer.

The base notes finish the experience with a warm, sensual experience.

Final Notes

Clinique Happy is a 1990’s peppy, happy scent experience. It’s often aligned more with teens, but it can be worn by all women. It’s a wonderful scent for any occasion. The downside is that Happy last only around 6 hours, so you’ll need to reapply if you intend to wear day and night.
