Suede Pony Review: The Basics

suede pony review

Suede Pony is considered a floral and fruity scent. The perfume commissioned with creating Suede Pony, Jérome Epinette, won the Fragrance Foundation Retail Award 2019 for his company, Floral Street. So clearly, Suede Pony comes from bold roots.

Suede Pony is a unisex fragrance. However, it should be noted; any Boy Smells fragrance attempts to blend masculinity and feminity fluidly.

It’s an exciting new fragrance, but what does Suede Pony smell like?

What Does Suede Pony Smell Like?

Suede Pony is more of an earthy, woody experience; hence, it is a popular as a fall fragrance.

Its top notes are plum, pineapple, and saffron. Its middle notes are violet, hazelnut, and coconut water (odd, but true). Its base notes are Spanish Labdanum and Indonesian Patchouli Leaf.

At first spritz, Suede Pony’s fruit notes hopscotch into your olfactory system. More specifically, you’ll encounter a pop of plum and pineapple. But those fruit notes soon fade into the backdrop and a smokey base takes hold. There’s a warmth, almost a spice, that fills in when you wear Suede Pony.

If you don’t enjoy smokey fragrances, I’d suggest you avoid Suede Pony. Or, at the very least, pick up a Suede Pony sample. We currently aren’t carrying Suede Pony samples. Sign up for our mailing list so we can keep you updated on all of our perfume samples.

How Long Does Suede Pony Last?

Suede Pony lasts for over 8-hours. Therefore, Suede Pony is a very long-lasting fragrance when compared to other top perfumes.

Final Notes

Suede Pony is a potent, long-lasting, fruity fragrance experience. Given its creator, Boy Smells produces “genderless scents” in general; Suede Pony is unisex.

Overall, Suede Pony is a smokey experience.
