Missing Person Perfume (Yes, It Is Real) – So What Is It?

The Internet continues to impress and shock all of us. In some ways, that’s the Internet’s job—that and keeping a perpetual flow of humorous memes going.

But a new strange perfume has the Internet, particularly those on TikTok, buzzing. A new perfume called Missing Person is a viral sensation. The idea, created by Phlur, has fragrance connoisseurs in a tizzy to get their hands on Missing Person.

So what is Missing Person perfume? Well, it isn’t as creepy as the name suggests. And yes, the name suggests a pretty creepy concept.

Instead, Phlur aims to capture your lover’s scent in a bottle. If your boyfriend or girlfriend leaves town, or you just get lonely while they are at work, spritz a little of Betty or Jason on your skin. And suddenly, you’ll feel as if they are right there in the room with you.

Constance Georges-Picot created Missing Person. It is said to be a warm and sexy experience.

OK, it is a bit creepy and a lot more bizarre. Watch as these TikTokers review Missing Person.

Missing Person’s tagline offers to emulate “your lover’s skin.”

The viral aspect of Missing Person comes from TikTokers testing out Phlur’s claims. Can a perfume company really bottle up your lover’s scent?
