Unique, smooth and classy cologne

After a couple of decades my interest in cologne has been rejuvenated. I have a sensitive nose so the low-priced scents usually were headache inducing or iratated my sinuses. I've ordered around 40 decanters now and Tuxedo ranks near the top of my favorites list. The patchouli is just the right depth giving off a warm, smooth balance to the other ingredients. This one also projects pretty well and lasts on me for hours. So even though it's really expensive it does perform well.
This is my favorite YSL fragrance by far. I've tried several and was mostly disappointed. Tuxedo is the star of the show and there's nothing generic about it. I don't believe in blind buys though because of different body chemistry and the fact that fragrances are subjective. Just like our tastes in food and music. Decanters are a good way to test before you pull the trigger on a full bottle. BTW: I probably have 20+ sample decants that were hard passes.
