Cherry scented heaven

I am a huge black opium fan. When I heard this one had cherry undertones I wasn't quite sure what to think
I feel like a decadent dessert like I feel edible When I wear this. I can't stop sniffing my own arm.
It's like when you get that really heavy dessert after a dinner, and you can't stop eating it. Even though you know that every bite has a thousand calories, you don't care, it's that good. Somebody took that feeling and rolled it up into a perfume.

The original Black Opium is a seductive scent, but this is more like a comforting one. So long as you're not afraid of calories, that is - I saw a review describe this as a decadent dessert, but if describe it more as a box of cherry cordials if you could somehow leave off the chocolate shell. Candied cherries is the dominant note for me.

Black Opium Over Red comes on strong, but settles down quickly. It's not a subtle perfume, but it's more of a catching your eye than grabbing your arm type.
