La Belle Le Parfum - Retail Bottle

This is a little sweet and a little spicy. Very rich and alluring with good longevity.

This is a goodspicy scent, lasted a long time on clothes.

This was one I wasn't able to appreciate until it settled in. The initial notes were too over powering but after five minutes it became a dreamy balance.

I like sweet perfumes. I mean, I like all perfumes and I've never been able to have a "signature scent" because I can't choose a single scent type, let alone a single scent. But I've always loved sweet scents, I've always enjoyed smelling like spring blossoms or candy or cake, and I've been known to layer them on until I smell like a candy shop with an ice cream counter where they make their own cones and I feel like this perfume is too sweet.

Or the wrong kind of sweet, maybe. Maybe it's just my body chemistry. It happens.

But I found this cloying, not confident, and just too much. Normally I love Gaultier but this was not the one for me. I do think if you like the notes included it's worth a trial.
