Scents deserve a second chance

I'm new to exploring perfume. Going in completely blind, I purchased a Poison sample with several others. Upon first sniff, I almost hated it. The strong purple grape soda (if you were spoonfed grape dymetap as a kid like me, you know) scent up top was almost nauseating. I was certain I'd never wear it. It bothered me that it was the only sample I didn't like, so I gave it one more shot with my skin chemistry.
I'm in love. I'm obsessed. I want to consume this scent. The grape was so subtle the second go around and all of that warm spiciness opened up and I can't stop smelling myself. I don't know what my skin does to it, but my husband said it smells like "smarties/fun dip/sweet tarts". I think his sniffer might be broken... but alas, he likes it too. I do wish it lasted longer on me. My birthday is coming up and I'm DEFINITELY asking for a full bottle of this. It's timeless and sultry and I feel like a love witch when I wear it.

Such a seductive scent

The first time I smelled this was in 1992 in Belk department store. We were just shopping for clothes and I seen this so decided to sample it. They lady sprayed the little card and it snelled so good but I wasn't sure it inwantrdnto spend around $80 for it. All the way back to my car I kept smelling that card and finally I turned around ,went back inside and bought the full bottle. It was well worth the purchase and now that I know where to get it again I will be ordering it. There was nothing to dislike about it.

Poison is an intense scent - go super easy

The scent is just as I recall. Very intense long lasting scent. When applied very lightly - it is the scent of violets. The little spray bottle is a genius design, but for this intense a scent it delivers too much at one time. Why not have an option for the customer? Spray or cap to dab a small amount?
