Tom Ford Bitter Peach Review – Is It Really Bitter?

During our Tom Ford Bitter Peach review, we’ll take a closer look at a fragrance that lands on our best perfumes for women list. And rightfully so, it’s a best seller with a lot of repeat business.

But just because a perfume is popular doesn’t mean it is the right perfume for you. This is why we review perfumes and, of course, why we offer perfume samples

So let’s get to it.

Tom Ford Bitter Peach Review – The Basics

In our first order of business, feel free to pick up a Tom Ford Bitter Peach sample. When you buy an affordable perfume sample, you lessen your risk in the event you don’t appreciate the scent. Our Tom Ford Bitter Peach review will do its best to give you as much insight as possible, but at the end of the day, the fragrance is subjective.

As mentioned, Bitter Peach is an amber vanilla fragrance. It is also a unisex fragrance, so men can wear it just as well as women. Although, we find it is more popular with women.

Tom Ford released Bitter Peach in the fall of 2020 as a part of their collection Private Blend.

What Does Tom Ford Bitter Peach Smell Like?

Sicilian blood orange is the top note and the most discernable upon the initial spritz. This is followed by Cardamom and Heliotrope notes. The middle notes are some of the most potent, oddly. Next, you’ll catch a dose of sandalwood, rum, cognac, and davana notes. The base features Tonka Bean, vanilla, Indonesian Patchouli Leaf, Cashmeran and Benzoin.

In case you can’t tell, Bitter Peach serves up a complex set of fragrance notes.

Although Ford calls it “Bitter Peach,” the fragrance contains more of a sweet aroma. There’s not much bitter or acidic about it, which leads to some people having buyer’s remorse. But, again, this is why perfume samples are often a great way to test the fragrance waters.

You will catch what smells like Peach, but not a bitter tone. Rather, Bitter Peach smells more like sweet Peach. This makes more practical sense, given peaches aren’t bitter. You’ll catch a Cassili note in there as well. At some point in the journey, the vanilla sandalwood takes over and the Peach completely fades away. So if you enjoy the sweet peach notes, you’ll need to reapply.

Bitter Peach works as a perennial fragrance good for a variety of life occasions.

How Long Does Bitter Peach Last?

You’ll get about five hours from time of application. That said and as we noted earlier, the sweet Peach wears off within the first hour but holds strong as vanilla sandalwood for the next few hours.

Final Notes

Bitter Peach is anything but bitter. Tom Ford’s 2020 Fall fragrance is more of a sweet, sandalwood aroma. So long as you understand it’s not bitter nor acidic, you’ll probably enjoy Bitter Peach.

The fragrance world is a subjective experience for all of us. Hopefully, this Bitter Peach review helped you decide whether or not you want to take a pass, buy a bottle, or buy a sample
