Rihanna’s New Perfume Rapidly Sells Out Hours After Launch

Shortly after Rihanna’s new Fenty Eau de Parfum launch, the fragrance was gone. Then, as the orders backed up, the product began selling out until there were no more to be had.

Hey, when you’re a billionaire, I suppose you can empower such feats. Rihanna marked the achievement by taking to Instagram and posting a picture of herself eating caviar in bed. Because, yeah, that’s how billionaire mega-stars reveal their happiness to the world.

“how I woke up after #FENTYPARFUM sold out this morning!!!” Rihanna exclaimed. “And that’s on Cavier for breakfast 🖤”

Maybe I’m not as sophisticated as I need be to understand such things, but caviar at breakfast sounds rather unappealing. But I digress, as this news regards Rihanna’s Fenty Eau de Parfum launch, not my apparent unclassy breakfast taste.

Rihanna’s Fenty perfume bills itself as “spicy and sweet all at once.” Rihanna claims the scent is inspired by a number of her preferred cities, namely Barbados, New York City, Paris, and Los Angeles. In case you were wondering, folks in those cities probably enjoy caviar as much as Rihanna.

Cardi B, Ryan Seacrest, and Lil Nas X were among a handful of celebrity friends proclaiming excitement over the launch.

It’s no secret that celebrity perfumes and fragrances tend to end up lackluster events (unless you are Ariana Grande or maybe Dolly Parton). Often, these perfumes expend more energy leveraging the celebrity brand name over creating a hot scent.

We can give a more in-depth prognosis once we get our hands on some on a sample of Rihanna’s Fenty Eau de Parfum. For the record, Rihanna has two previous fragrances, both of which have samples:

Reb’l Fleur sample and Rihanna Riri sample. We also have a RiRi review for those interested. So if you want to get an idea of what type of fragrances this billionaire pop star and entrepeneur creates, snag those samples.
